　　Fault 1: The steering wheel is locked.

　　What"s wrong with the car"s steering wheel not turning and the key not turning? Many new car owners have encountered such problems. The reason is actually very simple. After the vehicle stalls, the steering wheel will automatically lock, which is a simple anti-theft function. This situation is not always encountered when igniting the vehicle. Generally, after starting the vehicle with the key, the steering wheel automatically unlocks, which many car owners are not very familiar with. However, sometimes when parking, the steering wheel is placed at a certain angle, which happens to only turn the key to ignition and cannot be unlocked, resulting in the above situation. At this point, the car owner should lightly turn the key with their right hand and the steering wheel with their left hand, and the steering wheel will naturally unlock.

　　Fault 2: Scratched steering wheel.

　　When operating, the first step is to remove impurities and rust. The paint must be applied in small and thin layers. After drying, a second layer should be applied until it is flush with the surrounding paint surface. After repairing, it is necessary to wait for one day for the paint surface to harden before washing and waxing the car. There is a very simple and effective trick to repair small scratches: fill small scratches with toothpaste. If your car is painted with white paint, this method is even more appropriate. Gently apply toothpaste to the shallow scratches and use a soft cotton cloth to wipe the circle counterclockwise. This not only reduces scratches and marks, but also avoids long-term erosion of paint damage by air. If the scratches on the car body are deep and large, it is necessary to enter a professional store.

　　Fault 3: Steering wheel shaking.

　　When driving at speeds between 80 and 90 kilometers per hour, there is a shaking of the steering wheel. If the speed exceeds 90 kilometers per hour, it returns to normal. This situation is mostly caused by tire deformation or vehicle transmission system, and it is necessary to check whether the front wheel positioning angles and toe-in meet the requirements. If they are out of alignment, they should be adjusted; Set up the front axle and test run the wheels, check the static balance of the wheels and whether the tires are deformed too much. If deformed, replace them.
