Daewoo Automobile Company is the second largest automobile production enterprise in South Korea, with an annual production of over 600000 vehicles. In 1967, Jin Yuzhong founded the New Korea Company, which was later renamed as the New Company, and in 1983 it was renamed as Daewoo Motor Company. General Motors Daewoo New Company is headquartered in Incheon, South Korea and owns and manages three production plants located in Changwon, Gunsan, and Hanoi, Vietnam.
